Evening

Mark continues to make a lot of progress. We think he'll be able to eat a simple meal on Wednesday! His speech is improving without covering his trach and I think that will get capped very soon too.

He's scheduled for multiple PT and OT sessions per day now and he's doing great.

Mark send his thanks for the cards, letters and flowers and especially the visits.

Boo Coos of love from us who can't get there. We ask for a smile pic sometime soon.
I am supposing the blow up doll did the trick--or was it the nurse?
I love you, Mark.

I'm going to be on the road for the next five weeks - Denver, Boston, LA, NYC, and DC - and if Mark isn't out and climbing mountains by then (in Alaska, in winter, wearing only Bermuda shorts. Using one hand, no ropes, and with only a bobby pin for equipment), Kat and I will stop by the rehab for a visit. Otherwise, Mark will have to wait a bit: tickets to Alaska are pretty steep, and I'll be heartily sick of flying by then...

Peace and love, bro. Heal.
